The 96W USB-C Power Adapter offers quick, efficient charging at home, in the office or on the go. It’s compatible with numerous USB-C devices and charging cables. Apple recommends pairing it with a 14-inch MacBook Pro (2021 or later) using a USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable or USB‑C Charge Cable to take advantage of fast charging, for up to a 50 per cent charge in around 30 minutes.*

Testing conducted by Apple in September 2025 using pre-production 14-inch MacBook Pro systems with Apple M5, 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 24GB of unified memory and 1TB SSD. Tested with Apple 96W USB-C Power Adapter (Model A2166) and USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable (Model A2363). Fast-charge testing conducted with drained MacBook Pro units. Times measured from the beginning of wake from hibernate, or from the appearance of the Apple logo as the unit started up. Charge time varies with settings and environmental factors; actual results will vary.
